TRUE ANALOG SOUND WITH STATE-OF-THE-ART FEATURES

Saurus provides an authentic emulation of analog synthesizers, capturing the character of famous and expensive hardware without its typical limitations.

The versatile synthesis engine delivers a broad sonic range beyond traditional subtractive synthesis. True Analog Modeling Technology reproduces the warm character of vintage hardware, while the oscillator section provides PWM, Sync, Noise, Ring Modulation, AM and FM.

Both standard and exotic oscillator types are available. The PW control can morph any waveform, not just square waves, providing additional sound design possibilities.

FILTERS

Saurus features an analog-modeled filter designed to reproduce the characteristic behavior of classic analog circuits.

Analog filters can produce distortion, noise, phase shifts and self-oscillation when pushed into nonlinear operation. Saurus models these characteristics through accurate nonlinear behavior and self-oscillation, combined with FM, feedback and analog-modeled distortion.

ARPEGGIATOR & GATE

The integrated arpeggiator extends basic note sequencing with custom patterns, chords, swing and individual velocity settings per step.

This allows anything from simple arpeggio patterns to complex sequences.

MODULATION & EFFECTS

Saurus provides extensive modulation options. Numerous modulation sources can be connected to sound parameters via drag & drop or the modulation matrix, including audio-rate modulation.

MIDI Learn enables fast CC assignment via right-click.

The effects section includes 4x unison, chorus, delay, reverb and tube amplifier effects, all designed for high-quality sound processing.

MICROTUNING

Saurus includes seven microtuning modes for modeling the natural drift of analog oscillators.

Voices can be slightly detuned to create richer and warmer chords. The microtuning system adapts in real time to played melodies and automatically optimizes chord behavior.
